Sally Martin is a British based artist specializing in equestrian subjects.

An experienced horsewoman and instructor, Sally worked in the horse industry for many years.

Her thorough knowledge of the equine form and lifelong association with the horseworld is reflected in her portraits and equestrian scenes.

'My studio is a very busy place, crammed with work in progress a large part of which is in the final stages. I find this a particularly tricky time, it's about knowing when to stop and not overworking which with my looser and expressive style of painting can stifle the energy and feeling created in the initial painting stages.
